Lots of vegan options, and they have a DOSA! I think this is the only place in Walnut Creek that makes one. Fantastic blend of North and South Indian dishes.

OMG... I never thought that I could say this about an Indian restaurant and it's service. But here I go. I absolutely loved this little restaurant. Vikram was such an energetic, positive and kind individual. The restaurant was really busy but he gave each and every one of his customers his full attention. The food was also spectacular. I ate onion naan and butter chicken. It was just perfect.

My Mom and I came for dinner. We ordered the Dosa, which is a dish we hadn't tried before. When it arrived at the table, we asked how to eat it! The waiter was excited and extremely helpful in his explanation. It was our favorite thing of the evening! Then we ordered the Pani puri, he kindly explained the technique on this one as well. And for our entrees, we ordered the chicken vindaloo and chicken daal, with rice and garlic naan. Everything was incredibly flavorful, friendly staff and the decor is bright and colorful. The dining room is intimate, would be a really nice date night spot!

Provided 4 stars for overall experience, great service & atmosphere. Ambiance is pretty decent. Food: Butter Roti & Naans are very big size as it should be. 5 stars for size and quality of breads. Daal Makhani - great tasting. Malai Kofta - not creamy (which it should be and we asked for it) but overall taste was not of our liking. There were only 3 kofta in entire dish. Shahi Paneer - creamy and not spicy at all. Best thing I like in shahi paneer was the paneer cubes were small diced as compared to other places with huge chunks. Gobi Manchurian (Appetizer): very very sweet and there were only 4 Manchurian balls rest of it was gravy. Samosa Chaat (Appetizer): samosas were tasty but dry and the chaat was missing one of the main ingredients (sweet yogurt). Chole was ok tasting per our liking. Service: Great and very prompt, courteous service by everyone. Ambience: very traditional with modern touch. Nice ambience. Parking: right next to the restaurant there’s enough free parking available. Nearby: there’s Habbit Burger and Yogurtland next to Methi Restaurant.

We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, garlic Naan and Pani Puri. Great environment, we felt very comfortable, and inside, it feels like you are somewhere in India, not California. Delicious food (we went with mild spicy and it was more than enough). Also, service was great and the gentleman serving our table was super friendly, explained the food to us and had a smile on his face the whole time. Pleasant place to be. We will definitely be back!

Just two people, one in the kitchen and one doing everything else. But they were so kind and welcoming. I never felt neglected. I had a fantastic beer I've never seen before (Kati Patang) and my saag was delicious and not oily. I would have liked it a little spicier but I can just request that next time. Truly wonderful experience all around and I can't recommend it enough.
